High Temperature Stains for Post-Sintered Zirconia by Tanaka Designed by Dr. TanakaZirChrome® high temperature stains were designed and tested by Dr. Asami Tanaka, CDT, NMD. Dr Tanaka is one of the leading US authors on restorative ceramic dentistry colors and shades. He received a Masters Degree (CDT) from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and is currently a Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas San Antonio, where he is also a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD). High Temperature Chemically BondedZirChrome® is chemically bonded to sintered Zirconia and laminating porcelain after baking, so it maintains its color characteristics even after high temperature glazing procedures. These stains can be used with a wide variety of conventional porcelains in the 850°C to 950°C range.
